Sugar Land Salted Caramel
Sugar Land Texas was founded as a sugar plantation in the mid 19th century. The Imperial Sugar Company still has it’s headquarters in the city today. This relatively small town has left lasting impressions on American culture with several film, television, and music references. Our favorite fact about the city is that in 2016 during the Rio Olympic games, Sugar Land’s very own, Simone Manuel, became the first Black woman to earn an individual Olympic gold medal in a swimming event.
